Batavia, IL

I will be vending at the Quilt and Textile Show in Batavia, IL this week-end. Actually the show starts Friday at 1pm. I will again bring my quilt, Ground Zero. If you have only seen this quilt on the internet and you live in the Chicagoland area. This is your chance to see it in the cloth.
(Which is soooo much better.) The picture of the day is from 2007 when my quilt, Ground Zero, was first displayed there.
Here is the link to the Batavia Quilt Show, so you can print the $1 off admission coupon:

Good morning, I have been following your blog now for around a year off and on, to view and get ideas from your gorgeous rust dye projects.
reading todays blog, I never put it together that you were the quilter for the ground 0 quilt. We are from northern Illinois, and we retired to the ozarks of Missouri when I retired late 2003. We traveled 50 miles to a tiny town's festival so I could view the 9 11 quilt exhibit. my husband thought I was nuts til we got there. Thanks so much for your magnificent works. Kathy

Dear Kathy,
You didn't say which small town you drove 50 miles to see my quilt at. Since 2003 it has been in MO 3 times. The towns were Waynesville, Stockton, and
Hamilton. The Batavia show was is 113 public appearance.
